DAKOTA DUNES PROPERTY IS IN THE ENHANCED “9-1-1” CALLING AREA
Calls to enhanced “9-1-1” go directly to the Woodbury County Communications Center, which is located in Sioux City, Iowa. The communications center can communicate with any law enforcement or emergency response department in the area.
When calling the communications center, please try to stay calm to give them the correct information. The communications center will need the following information:
1. Type of emergency call
2. Location of the emergency
3. What emergency equipment is needed
4. Your name (and business name if you are at work)
5. Your telephone number
6. Briefly describe the emergency
Also, if you would like to contact us when you leave town or have any special events that would be publicized, such as weddings or funerals, please use the security numbers below.
