Luke Vermeer of Sioux Center, IA fires 68-69-36 173 (-2) for a two shot victory over defending Champion Brian Wynia of Sioux Falls for the 74th Interstate Amateur Championship trophy.
Vermeer was sparked by making 3 birdies on Par 3 Alley (#7 & #8) on the day and playing the three par 5's a total of 4 under par!
Wynia finished even par for the tournament for Runner-Up and Two River's own Jeff Donaldson cards a 4 under 31 on the final 9 to capture 3rd place at 1 over par.
The 75th Interstate Amateur Championship will be held June 4th & 5th, 2010. Luke Vermeer plans to defend.
